How we work together

Minimum Terms

  • Tier 1 (Audit): 1-month engagement — a focused, self-contained piece of work
  • Tier 2 (Ops Backbone™): 3-month engagement — systems need time to build, test, and embed
  • Tier 3 (Operations Partner): 3-month minimum — meaningful change doesn't happen in 30 days
  • Tier 3+ (Strategic Growth): 6-month minimum — scaling requires sustained commitment

Payment

  • Audits and installations: 50% upfront, 50% on delivery
  • Retainers: Monthly, invoiced on the 1st, due within 7 days
  • Late payment: Work pauses after 14 days overdue (no exceptions)

Scope

  • Each engagement begins with a signed scope document
  • Out-of-scope requests are flagged, quoted separately, and agreed before work begins
  • "Can you just quickly..." is not a scope extension — it's a new task

Communication

  • Response times: Within 1 working day during agreed hours
  • Agreed communication channel only (no WhatsApp/DM creep)
  • Emergency requests outside scope: £150/hour

Intellectual Property

  • All systems, SOPs, and frameworks become the client's property on final payment
  • Fawcett VA Services retains the right to reference the engagement (anonymised) in case studies

Termination

  • Audits/installations: Non-refundable once work has commenced
  • Tier 3 retainers: 30 days notice after initial 3-month term
  • Tier 3+ retainers: 60 days notice after initial 6-month term
  • Handover: All systems and documentation transferred within 5 working days
